The Account Coordinator will be responsible for client communication, moving projects forward and ensuring timelines are met on any given project. They are an integral part of our Red Bicycle team and will be required to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Your main hustle...

While working with Red Bicycle, your focus will be all about our client and helping move projects through the pipeline, where you will:   

  • Ensure ongoing client communication concerning project management and execution is clear

  • Monitor project execution, ensuring timelines are met on all projects  

  • Build client and project briefs as required for project execution 

  • Serve as a liaison with vendors on behalf of clients for projects such as websites, ad purchasing, print production, event booking, and more 

  • Draft content and/or edit newsletter articles, press releases, online content, speaking notes, presentations, videos, and promotional collateral as required. 

  • Aid or lead social media management, which includes: post generation, scheduling, maintenance, response to posts promptly and professionally, and more 

  • Assist with preparation of estimates and budgets, and provide progress reports to your immediate supervisor on an ongoing basis 

  • Work directly with the creative team in finding client-focused solutions 

  • Support the Red Bicycle team with various projects as needed

While the position as outlined above will be the focus of your time here, we are a boutique agency and as such a variety of responsibilities will fall to you. A team player with a positive can-do attitude is essential as you will be required to step into all roles as required to assist as needed in the success of Red Bicycle. Other responsibilities may include: 

  • General administration and office work 

  • Onsite supervision of projects and installations, etc. 

  • Ad sales for the Discover Lloydminster Guide 

  • Coordination of marketing events, which may include the following tasks: venue sourcing and booking, contract management, catering selection, audiovisual coordination, travel booking and management, speaker selection, audience research, internal and external event communications, attendee management and material preparation 

  • Coffee runs – or literally anything else we need to keep our hustle bustling 

The things you need...
  • Superior organizational skills with strong time management 

  • Excellent planning and project management skills 

  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage several concurrent projects within the given timeline 

  • Professional and effective communication skills (verbal and written) with a strong writing and communications background is essential 

  • Strong working knowledge of software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) 

  • Astute attention to detail and ability to think outside the box 

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with team members and senior leaders 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high level of polish and professionalism 

  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude 

  • A completed University degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or similar is preferred; although a college diploma in marketing will be considered. 

  • Access to their own vehicle with a valid class 5 driver’s license 

  • Ability to work evening and weekends as required (but don't worry, this only for awesome projects)

You're really winning if...
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or similar 

  • Knowledge of Word Press and other website applications 

  • Sales experience is an asset

  • 2-5 years of experience with priority given to agency experience, project management experience, or similar.
