The Account & Social Media Coordinator makes sure sh*t gets done in the office and nothing is ever dropped off their plate, or anyone else’s. They are integral to our operations and will be required to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Your main hustle...
  • Client and Project Management

    • Ongoing high-level client communication concerning project management and execution

    • Monitor project execution, ensuring timelines are met on all projects 

    • Build client and project briefs as required for project execution

    • Serve as a liaison with vendors on behalf of clients for projects such as websites, ad purchasing, print production, event booking, and more

    • Assist with preparation of estimates and budgets, and provide progress reports to your immediate supervisor on an ongoing basis

    • Work directly with the creative team in finding client-focused solutions

    • Onsite supervision of projects, installations, events, etc.

  • Creative and Strategic Development and Execution

    • Develop strategy and content to support the goals of our clients

    • Conduct market research and analysis to gain knowledge of the marketplace

    • Copywriting – draft content and/or edit newsletter articles, press releases, online content, speaking notes, presentations, videos, and promotional collateral as required

  • Social Media Management & Execution

    • Including post generation, scheduling, maintenance, response to posts promptly and professionally, and more

    • Monitor, engage and build community on various client channels

    • Maintain knowledge of a variety of different social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, Tik Tok, YouTube, and more (while staying up to date on the latest emerging platform)

    • Prepare, analyze, and decode analytical reporting on each platform as required

    • Manage ads, execute media purchasing, and monitor ROI

  • Remain constant in new emerging trends and be knowledgeable of current world events that may impact our clients

  • Support the Red Bicycle team with various projects as needed

Your side hustle...

While the position as outlined above will be the focus of your time here, we are a boutique agency and as such a variety of responsibilities will fall to you. A team player with a positive can-do attitude is essential as you will be required to step into all roles as required to assist as needed in the success of Red Bicycle. Other responsibilities may include:

  • General administration, office work and providing assistance to the management team

  • Coordinate marketing events, which may include the following tasks: venue sourcing and booking, contract management, catering selection, audiovisual coordination, travel booking and management, speaker selection, audience research, internal and external event communications, attendee management and material preparation

  • Coffee runs – or literally anything else we need to keep our hustle bustling

The things you need...
  • Superior organizational skills with strong time management

  • Excellent planning and project management skills

  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage several concurrent projects within the given timeline

  • Professional and effective communication skills (verbal and written) with a strong writing and communications background is essential

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)

  • Astute attention to detail and ability to think outside the box

  • Ability to work productively independently without supervision as well as collaboratively with team members and senior leaders

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a high level of polish and professionalism

  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude approach to all challenges and everyday

  • 2-5 years of experience with priority given to agency experience, project management experience, and similar.

  • Access to their own vehicle with a valid class 5 driver’s license

  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required

  • Superior organizational skills with strong time management and ability to multi-task (did we mention that already?!)

You're really winning if...
  • Education in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similar

  • Existing knowledge in Digital and Social Media Marketing 

  • Knowledge of Word Press and other website applications 

  • Google Analytics Certification  

  • Experience with click funnels, lead magnets, and other related programming 

  • Sales experience is an asset
